Mile 10

Cleanliness is next to godliness…

Having traveled through Utah’s red clay terrain in the rain, the RV – Big Blue, was trashed. This simply will not do, by Meg’s standard’s…at all. Ever town we came through she was on the lookout for a truck wash. Town after town Meg’s frustration grew as we couldn’t find one. Finally! She spotted one, but on the other side of the road. Bound and determined she insisted on turning around. Mendy and I were tasked to find a place to turn around. We spotted one, but it looked iffy, that was enough for Meg! A precarious four point turn and we are but five minutes from godliness!

Meg boarded the RV with a big grin exclaiming, “much better”! It’s the little things in life.

We are back on the road and Big Blue is bouncing between the lines shiny and clean. You see Big Blue can’t be dirty while carrying precious cargo…River! Ha, I bet you thought I would say me!? I know my place.

Unfortunately due to our mechanical issues and diversion in route, sadly we will have to skip Denver all together, sorry 😔.

In true RV living fashion, we stopped at a roadside rest stop for the night. Dinner a few glasses of wine, stress release, it’s medicinal…don’t judge. Good night Juan-a-be’s.
